I definitely prefer full novels rather than novellas, but these were very well written with unique plotlines。 To rank them in order of my favorite: 1) Nancy Campbell Allen, 2) Michele Paige Holmes, and 3) Sarah Eden。

What a great piece! I enjoyed reading it even though this is not my usual genre。 I suggest you publish your writings on Novelstar as well。 :)

Another fabulous collection by my go to favorite authors! I read this in 2 days because I was intrigued by each story。

I loved all the stories in this collection。 My only complaint is that I wanted more, especially the last one。 Hopefully there is a follow up book about Stevie and his "brother" Edward Crispin。 I loved all the stories in this collection。 My only complaint is that I wanted more, especially the last one。 Hopefully there is a follow up book about Stevie and his "brother" Edward Crispin。 。。。more

I listened to the audiobook the second time and loved the narrator。 She was perfect, especially for the last story in the collection。I love these collections!! I know I say that every time one of them comes out, but it's true。 I get three stories--some by authors I love and some by authors that are new to me--all with the same theme, yet completely different from each other。 This time it's about the educated "Bluestocking" ladies, the ones usually looked down upon by Society。 BLESSING IN DISGUIS I listened to the audiobook the second time and loved the narrator。 She was perfect, especially for the last story in the collection。I love these collections!! This was a great set of short stories and I read it to read one of my favorite author’s stories to find I liked the others more。 I felt like the last two stories had a lot of heart and didn’t feel like a short story。 I’m not the hugest fan of short stories because they often don’t have the greatest character development which I love。 The last two stories had the feel of a full length story in character development in a short story。 Nice job ladies。

A search among orphans to find the true heir to a Baronacy。A beautiful, but resigned-to-her-fate-of-spinsterhood school owner and a lawyer turned spontaneous-kindergarten-teacher and their attraction and romance。Truly enjoyable story by another of my favorite authors!Narration: 5 starsKim Breton has a plethora of voices and accents at her disposal! Blessing in Disguise by Sarah M。 EdenI did like this story but have to admit I didn't find it very engaging and the story dragged a little for me。 It was very cute and I thought the relationship between Winnifred and Liam was really well developed especially within the space of a novella。 No gripes, just wasn't my favourite read。 3 stars。An Unexpected Education by Michele Paige HolmesI loved this story - so much so that I stayed up to finish it, I couldn't get enough。 It was definitely Esther's Blessing in Disguise by Sarah M。 EdenI did like this story but have to admit I didn't find it very engaging and the story dragged a little for me。 It was very cute and I thought the relationship between Winnifred and Liam was really well developed especially within the space of a novella。 No gripes, just wasn't my favourite read。 3 stars。An Unexpected Education by Michele Paige HolmesI loved this story - so much so that I stayed up to finish it, I couldn't get enough。 It was definitely Esther's story and she gets the most depth, with John being great but not as extensively fleshed out。 I loved this romance, it was so sweet and cute and earned。 I enjoyed the growth in Esther。 This just brought a smile to my face。 I do wish we got an epilogue for this story though, as it ended quite abruptly for me。 4 stars。Good Heir Hunting by Nancy Campbell AllenThis was my least favourite of the 3 books but was still easy and nice to read。 I just didn't feel the same connection to the characters。 。。。more

I loved the setup for the story and how slowly the puzzle over her identity was teased out by a thoughtful young man。 Story 2:The difficult time of being a girl child in an impoverished English household, is only worsened when the mother dies, leaving her a true orphan。 This is the story of how one child, taught by her dying mother to read, was able to lift herself out of poverty, with the aid of a kind widow who recognized her potential and hired her。Story 3。A tender story, that sets the world aright—at least as far as one little boy and 3 adults are concerned。 I loved the characters, and happy to see they all had their HEA。 The plot, while simple, was nicely developed。I received an advance copy of the book。 My review is voluntary and reflects my own opinion。 。。。more

This set of Timeless Romances had me excited to read each one and were difficult to put down。 Each of these authors created masterful short stories that spoke of extremely strong women in a time where it was frowned upon。 They are each really sweet, clean romances。
